Birthday Parties
- During our 90 minute party children use their imaginations to create one of a kind masterpieces using various techniques.
- Includes pizza, drinks, and papergoods. You provide cake or cupcakes and favors.
- Wear your painting clothes. Smocks provided as needed.
- Pricing based on the number of kids. Call or email for more details.
- A unique concept of parent 'n child bonding.
- Symmmetrical based visual i.e. butterfly will be used as the focal point of this drawing /painting project.
- Using two canvas' side by side the parent 'n child work together to create and paint a masterpiece suitable for wall display.

- Your group chooses the theme/subject of the painting from one of our visuals.
- We supply instructors, canvas, paints, brushes, etc. for the 2 hour party.
- Party-goers are responsible for their own beverages/snacks/food.

- Available times: Fridays at 8:30 pm, Saturdays at 5 pm, Sundays at 12 noon.

- Learn the various types of clay and glazes, the history of the art medium, it's properties and uses.
- Become aware of the vocabulary and terms associated with working with clay.
- Observe a POTTER at work in a studio setting and be able to ask questions.
- Experience a visit on the POTTER's WHEEL. Each scout will have approx. 8-10 minutes of throwing time.
- See and learn about kilns, the ovens that harden the clay and glazes.
- Scouts will create a COIL POT using three techniques - coil, slab, and sculpture.
- Scouts will decorate the bisqueware (COIL POT) using ass't glazes and brushes.
- Pricing based on the number of scouts.
- Troop leader will need to pick up bisque fired clay pots 7-10 days after original visit. SSAC will provide glazes and brushes for decorating. The pots will be fired a second time (glaze fired). Then they can be picked up and distributed to the troop.
